Almost a hundred owners, executives and management of various warehouse, manufacturing, and production companies gathered separately at the second and third track of NOAH Business Applications Digital Transformation Forum (Inventory, Warehousing, Production, Financials, and HR) held separately at Clark Marriott Hotel on June 20, 2019 for Northern Luzon and July 24, 2019 at the First Cavite Industrial Estate in Dasmariñas, Cavite for South of Manila area.

The two forums, intended for production companies, promoted digital transformation in the advent of the subset of the 4th Industrial Revolution called Industry 4.0 which fosters “smart factories”. Manufacturing companies of today see the need to evolve from labor-intensive mechanical procedures into smart factories that leverage on technologies to continuously create growth opportunities in their industry.

The forums discussed how production companies can adapt to the increase in demand and growth in the warehousing and production sectors through leveraging digital technologies. Latest updates on digital technology relevant to today’s warehousing and production companies, as well as new insights and methodologies were discussed during the forum.

Digital transformation in financials and HR

Managing finances and human resources are the two most important things to consider in running a company. Having a continuous stream of income and making the most of it is an essential element of the stability in a company. The Human Resource (HR) department plays a vital role in helping an organization make the best use of its human capital. With the growing needs, expectations and demands of business development of an organization as well as the increase in HR necessities, HR Managers face challenges as they transform themselves to cope with the evolving skills requirement and work models. The ways on how organizations can adapt agile processes to better serve the business and customer’s needs were also discussed.

The two forums are the second and third track of the NOAH Digital Transformation Forum series following the NOAH Real Estate Business Applications Digital Transformation Forum held at Grand Hyatt Manila in Taguig City on March 21, 2019.
